 Predation is a biological interaction followed by many animals that involves catching and eating prey.  Predation is a one way relationship where the prey provides the predator with a source of food.


The most common form of predation is when one animal consumes another.  For example, when a cheetah eats a zebra.

CompetitionEdit

Intraspecific competiton is when two or more animals of the same species compete for the same resource


Interspecific competition is when two or more animals of different species compete for the same resource
